A list of academic, professional and personal achievements.
  • Attended Dickinson State University (Dickinson, ND) for three and a half years (2004 - 2007).  In Fall 2007 I made it on the Dean's List with a 3.5 GPA.
  • Co-founded and co-ran the Dickinson State University Filmmakers Organization.  During its three year life span the DSU Filmmakers became the largest club on campus and won the 2006 DSU Outstanding Club/Organization award.  Other achievements I had while involved with the DSU Filmmakers: creating numerous films, producing, directing and writing a sitcom that ran for two seasons on the local campus TV channel and co-ran a community involved film festival.
  • Was featured on the front page of The Dickinson Press.  The article talked about the history and future of the DSU Filmmakers Club.  A follow up article covered our film festival.
  • On a few occasions I was asked to speak in Dr. Kenneth Haught's Video Production Class (Dickinson State University).  During these lectures I went over my film experiences and showed the students how to do basic special effects in their movies.  I was also asked to speak about Flash for one class period in my Web Development class.
  • Created an Alcohol Awareness video in 2007 for the Alcohol Awareness Through the Arts Program.
  • My cartoon series, Enterprise: Flashed, was showcased at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City as part of a Star Trek Fan Film event.  I was also asked to contribute to a book on fan films and wrote a passage about Enterprise: Flashed in it.
